We had snow for about 2 days here in Hampshire. The photo above is of a few blades of grass poking through the snow. The photo below is of horse hair caught on barbed wire.

I stopped on the way into work on Monday 11 January 2010 to take some photographs of snow-covered fields. The field was pristine: not a single footprint. The sky was heavy and featureless.
