Trees in our garden 19 November 2021.
This spot amongst the tall beech trees is one of my very favourite places in the Forest of Bere. It reminds me of being inside a cathedral.
A leaf from our damson tree, dangling by a silk thread.
Through my study window this morning, as the sun was trying to break through the fog.
Taken through the first floor landing window. The tree was catching the weak winter afternoon sun.
ITM is intentional tree movement. I felt more confident allowing the wind to create the impressionistic effect than I did trying what photographers call ICM – intentional camera movement.
Our Persian Ironwood (Parrotia Persica) is always the first in flower. Tiny little red flowers that are easy to miss. This morning they were glowing in the sunshine.
In the photo above you can see the lines of raindrops falling.
