In the Forest of Bere this morning. I was trying to catch the mood on a grey and rainy morning.
This particular location in the woods always reminds me of a cathedral, particularly when the leaves are fresh and the sun is shining through.
Earlier this week – looking up at the cherry tree in our front garden with the street lamp above and behind.
This is an experiment. I have been trying the OM mount 75-260 zoom on my Olympus EM1 mark ii micro 4/3 camera, using an OM to M4/3 adaptor. This image was taken with the lens at 260mm, so with the quirks of the M4/3 system this becomes equivalent to about 520mm. And it is manual focus, so relying on my eyesight to ensure a sharp image.
Trees in our garden 19 November 2021.
This spot amongst the tall beech trees is one of my very favourite places in the Forest of Bere. It reminds me of being inside a cathedral.
A leaf from our damson tree, dangling by a silk thread.
Through my study window this morning, as the sun was trying to break through the fog.
