Last night was really clear – and cold. For this image I left the camera on the tripod for about 2 hours 30 minutes. The camera also caught a couple of satellites and a few aircraft crossing the sky.
My first ever attempt at star trails.
Image taken using the ‘live composite’ feature on my Olympus EM1 with 25 mm lens (50mm equivalent). just over 30 minutes of 5 second exposures f1.8 ISO 1600. Post processing with Luminar 4 to make the colours pop a little.
My aim – if the sky is clear on Friday – is to capture one of these with the ISS crossing the sky. Here you can see a meteor; unfortunately I was not looking up at that time.
