This afternoon I sat on a chair in the garden, waiting for the birds to come. Here are 6 – I took loads of photos of the blackbird. The blue tits were very hard to catch – they move very quickly and were hiding amongst the branches of the damson tree. Click on a photo to view it larger and see the gallery.
These eggs are about 1mm tall. We found them on the underside of a rocket (arugula) leaf in the vegetable patch. We think they were laid by a cabbage white butterfly.
