



These eggs are about 1mm tall. We found them on the underside of a rocket (arugula) leaf in the vegetable patch. We think they were laid by a cabbage white butterfly.

I took this image for a Bishop’s Waltham Photographic Society challenge – to take an image where the subject was not fully in the frame. As I was taking macro photographs of marbles, I noticed that the air bubble in this one was reflecting the patterns of the marble.
