I have always loved the composition of this image. I took this photograph in Fuerteventura in 2003, when the kids were 7 and 9. This was my first ever digital camera, a Logitech QuickCam Traveler. This was a small thing with a little internal memory (no removable card) and very few pixels – the image file is 122KB! The camera saved no metadata.
I think that when I attempted some processing years ago I could well have overwritten the original digital file, which may have made the colour processing more difficult in 2025.
